Raiders' Davante Adams Charged With Misdemeanor Assault After Shove

Davante Adams has been accused of causing "whiplash and head ache" and a "possible minor concussion."

LAS VEGAS, NV – Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has been charged with misdemeanor assault after he was seen shoving a photographer Monday night, police said Wednesday, according to CNN.

A court document stated that Adams caused “whiplash and head ache” and a “possible minor concussion,” the outlet reported.

He is set to appear in court on November 10, according to the document.

Hours after the Raiders’ 30-29 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs Monday, Adams apologized in a Tweet.

“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game,” Adams wrote. “Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.”

According to ESPN, the man was a freelancer working for ESPN's Monday Night Football and filed a report with Kansas City police after the incident. ESPN reported that the man was treated for injuries that were "preliminarily thought to be non-life threatening."
