  1. On Jan. 25, Las Vegas police extracted two people trapped in a vehicle following a two-vehicle crash near Historic Westside. According to police, the collision occurred at the intersection of southbound Rancho Drive at Washington Avenue. Two passengers were taken to UMC Hospital. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
  2. Yesterday, Las Vegas police arrested a suspect following a tense standoff with officers in the southeast valley. The incident occurred near Hacienda Avenue and Mountain Vista Street in the 4500 block of Palm Mesa Drive. Metro SWAT officers were on the scene for what police called "a barricade situation." (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  3. According to a news release on Jan. 25, two off-Strip Las Vegas restaurants made Yelp’s annual list of the “Top 100 restaurants in the United States!” Las Vegas restaurant Zenaida’s Cafe ranked No. 24 on the list by serving “American Cuisine with a fine dining twist.” And Las Vegas eatery, The Bao Spot, came in at No. 60 on the list with its “Asian-fusion.” (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
