UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Las Vegas

December is National Giving Month and the local owner of UNITS of Las Vegas is taking it to the next level by donating to Toys for Tots and issuing a “Spread the Love Challenge” to other local businesses, to help make the holidays bright for those in need.

Whether an organization decides to adopt a family, take up an office collection, or volunteer with a local charity, the folks at UNITS want to challenge businesses in our area to go the extra mile this year to multiply their giving and Spread the Love!!

Here’s how UNITS is tripling up on doing good starting with Toys for Tots:

• Giving Step #1: UNITS has been collecting new, unwrapped toys all year long at their warehouse and recently delivered them to the local U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program.

• Giving Step #2: Every person who donates a toy gets a discount on any container rental.

• Giving Step #3: For every toy donation and container rental, UNITS makes a cash contribution that goes straight to the Wounded Warrior Project to help provide care for wounded veterans.

“We are a long-time partner with Toys for Tots, and we love helping provide Christmas for children in need. But this year we asked ourselves, “How can we do more? How can we help more people?” said Martin Mapes of UNITS Moving and Portable Storage of Las Vegas. “All year long we have been helping our customers by offering them an extra price break on a container rental if they donate a toy. Then we match that price break with a cash donation to the Wounded Warrior Project to help veterans, which is another charity that is near and dear to our hearts. It’s a win-win-win, and we would love for other businesses to jump on the bandwagon to THINK BIGGER ON GIVING!”
