UNLV Hit And Run Puts Female Student In Hospital
A hit and run occurred on the campus of UNLV and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Another hit and run occurred in the Las Vegas Valley. Police at UNLV reported Wednesday night that a female student was struck by a driver who fled the scene near Swenson St. and Harmon Ave.
The driver caused damage to other property and vehicles as he left the scene. He then fled on foot and was arrested by LVMPD near Bally's casino, Metro police said. The victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, UNLV police said on Twitter.
Statement (5:20 pm Wed.) - Vehicle came on campus at Swenson & Harmon, jumped the sidewalk and struck female student near Lied Library. A hit and run in Henderson on Tuesday left an 8-year old girl in critical condition.
