Vegas Woman Charged In CA Doctor's Killing Takes Plea Deal: Report

LAS VEGAS, NV — Kelsey Turner, the 29-year-old woman accused of killing a doctor in March 2019 after his body was found in the trunk of a car near Lake Mead, accepted a plea deal Wednesday, according to KSNV.
Turner agreed to serve 10 to 25 years in prison when she entered the plea on a charge of second-degree murder for the death of 71-year-old California psychiatrist Thomas Kirk Burchard, KSNV reported, citing court records.
Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for January 10, according to the outlet.
