- It's time for the Bedford Craftworkers' Guild 2022 Harvest Fair. The doors will open for you to find unique, hand-crafted artisan gifts in person or online from Sept. 29-Oct. 10, from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m. daily. You will find the Craftworker's Guild on 5 Meetinghouse Road in Bedford, behind the Bedford Public Library. (The Craftworkers' Guild via Facebook)
- If you're heading to the Library, you can also stop in to enjoy a free concert with Rich Araldi on Sunday. The concert is "an excursion through the great songs of the 20th century and the stories that make them that much more special." Araldi plays music from jazz and swing to modern jazz, the Beatles, and more. He performs more than 400 programs a year, from concerts and community events to library programs and church performances. The free concert is open to the public, but only 100 seats are available, so please register ahead of time. (Bedford (NH) Public Library via Facebook)
- A shout out to Bedford baseball player Grant Lavigne. The Double-A Eastern League baseball season may have ended on Sunday, but Bedford's Grant Lavigne will be playing ball in the fall. Lavigne played with the Hartford Yard Goats for the second half of the season. He's home in Bedford now, but not for long. Lavigne is a prospect for the Colorado Rockies and will be participating in the six-team Arizona Fall League. Way to go! (The Union Leader)
