Adoption Alert: Rondo Makes a Good Impression

Velvet: My name is Velvet, and sadly, I’m here because my owner died. I’m 4 years old, and a big beautiful super-soft female. Even though I’m stressed at the moment (wouldn’t you be? I only had one home my whole life) and I hiss a little, I am “all talk and no action” according to the staff here. I came in with my roommate Cheetah, so if you would like two cats (indoors-only) who already get along we would be a good pair to consider. However, we are fine separately too. I just know that I am so ready to be in a home again with someone who loves me and will let me love them back. Please come soon.

Rondo: Hi there I'm Rondo! I am a 8 month old puppy that is tons of fun and I have lots of energy. I have been lucky to live in a foster home during some of my time here at the shelter and let me tell you did I make a good impression. I have been having a blast playing with the other dogs and learning "doggy manners" from them. I've been checking out the cats and I have been good with them. I'm used to being in the crate at night and am getting comfortable riding in the car (I usually spend my time looking out the window or laying down in the backseat). When I am not playing with the other dogs, I am amusing myself with a toy or snoozing next to you on the couch. I am 99% house trained! Speaking of lessons, I am working on some basic manners, but I'm pretty sure that I'll need some work on that (after all I am just a puppy), maybe there is a class that I could go to? I would do best in a home that has another dog that I can play with. Come on in to meet me and you can see for yourself just how much fun I am!
