- A shout-out to Will and Luke, who set up an apple cider stand over the weekend to raise money to help animals in need. They raised "an amazing $230," the Animal Rescue League announced in a recent social media post. Way to go! (Animal Rescue League of NH via Facebook)
- Three men were charged with alleged conspiracy to illegally buy Land Rover SUVs—each valued at more than $100K. Three Rhode Island men were arrested for allegedly trying to buy new Land Rovers in Warwick, RI, and Bedford, NH, using a stolen identity to obtain more than $100,000 each in online dealer financing. When a dealership employee determined "that a driver’s license may have been altered," Adalberto Mauricio Romero, 25, of Providence, RI, was arrested by Bedford Police when he showed up at the local dealership to pick up the SUV. - On Thursday, police arrived at a fatal crash in Bedford off the Exit 13 southbound ramp of the Everett Turnpike. Craig Faulkner, 57, of Merrimack, was killed in the single motorcycle crash. State police are investigating the crash, and said "there were no other vehicles involved." (WMUR Manchester)
