No Common Achievement: Bedford Cuts Ribbon on New Town Square

It was a beautiful day for the community to unveil it's new village common.

It took roughly 15 years to come to fruition, but on Sunday, June 9, Bedford town officials, old-timers, musicians and other influential locals gathered with dozens of residents to formally introduce the Bedford Village Common, Veterans' Memorial and Market Basket Bandstand.

Among those in attendance were current and former Bedford Town Council members, resident town musician and keyboardist Paul Bordeleau and the Bedford High School Jazz Band, and, of course, the Bedford Village Common Development Committee, the members of which donated hundreds of hours of their time and attention to make the project a reality.

Of the countless events to come, the Bedford Recreation Department already has several summer concerts scheduled and more events to come.
