Bedford Police Host Motorcycle Run this Saturday

Officers and motorcycle enthusiasts gather in Bedford for a great cause.

As part of its efforts to raise money for this weekend's exclusive "Hereos Behind the Badge" movie screening, the Bedford Police Department has announced a motorcycle run that will begin in Bedford and include a stop at the New Hampshire Law Enforcement Memorial in Concord.

Registration for the ride begins at 9:30 a.m. at Blowin' Smoke Cigar Shop at 132 Bedford Center Road, and the run begins at 10 a.m.

The event is open to all riders and law enforcement officers and agencies are encouraged to attend.

The return to Bedford culminates with a heavy Italian lunch provided by Carrabba's Italian Grill in Bedford, and is capped by a complimentary fine cigar from Blowin’ Smoke and Ashton Cigars.

The cost of the event is $25 per person, with proceeds going toward the cost of showing the Granite State premiere of “Heroes Behind the Badge” a 90-minute, independently produced movie that tells the powerful and shocking stories of real-life police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty and to support the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.
