Bedford Tennis Teams Begin Playoff Push

The Bedford High School boys tennis team had dominated Division II competition for three years prior to moving up to D-I play this season.

Yet the Bulldogs continue to do what they do best: Win.

Even against tougher competition, the top-seeded BHS boys tennis team enters the playoffs this week with an undefeated record and looks poised to raise a fourth-straight banner. The Bulldogs host No. 8 Bishop Guertin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, at the Bedford tennis courts on County Road.

The third-seeded Lady B's, on the the other hand, take aim at a second championship in three years when they host Derryfield School, one of two teams to beat them this season. The action begins at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at the Bedford tennis courts.
