  1. If you are curious about the Best Wine Bars in Bedford, Yelp reviewers had a few favorites. The Copper Door was at the top of the list with 664 Yelp reviews! Corks Wine Bar at the Bedford Village Inn was mentioned but didn't have Yelp reviews yet. Google has an impressive list of the best Bedford wine bars. Two at the top list were Corks at the Bedford Village Inn and Vine 32 Wine + Graze Bar. Other Bedford top spots for wine were: The Lobby Bar at the Grand Hotel at the Bedford Village Inn, The Copper Door, Carrabba's Italian Grill, River Road Tavern, and the 1750 Taphouse. (Yelp)
  2. If you're driving on New Boston Road or Polly Peabody Road Tuesday, be aware of construction at the intersection that may slow or stop traffic. The Town of Bedford announced road construction at the intersection of New Boston and Peabody roads on Tuesday, June 28, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Town of Bedford website said, "Expect delays, lane closures and/or alternating one-way traffic through work zone" and you may want to seek alternate routes.   3. Police arrested a Bedford woman in connection with a hit-and-run crash involving a Derry police officer on May 28. The officer was conducting a traffic stop on South Main Street when a vehicle hit her cruiser, and then hit and injured the officer who was standing on the side of the road. Derry Police responded to the scene and found evidence that led to a search for a white 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander. Investigators arrested Nicolle Medina, 41, of Bedford, who drives an SUV of that color, make and model. (Bedford Patch)
