Body Of Man Removed From Under Manchester Bridge St Bridge
Fire, EMS, and police responded to a report of an unresponsive male under the bridge Tuesday and determined the person was deceased.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Fire, Police and EMS were called to the area under the West End of the Bridge Street Bridge Tuesday for a person found unresponsive.
Fire and EMS arrived at just past 8 a.m. and determined the person was deceased. EMTs then turned the scene over to Manchester police.
UPDATE: MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel said the person found deceased is a 40-year-old male. The body of the person was transported to the NH Office of The Medical Examiner where an autopsy was expected to be done Tuesday afternoon. At this time the death does not appear to be suspicious.

Police cruisers were on the scene in the area adjacent to Interstate 293 South and in the rear parking lot of 195 McGregor St. At 10:39 a.m., Manchester fire was dispatched to assist police. Firefighters worked in an area of a homeless camp under the bridge.
The camp is one of more than 30 known homeless camps in the city of Manchester. Manchester has had several discussions on how to provide housing and shelter for more than 300 homeless people in the Queen City.

A local funeral home arrived, MFD assisted in removing a body with two workers from the funeral home.
