Work Resumes on Bedford Bridge Replacement
NHDOT says roadwork, which will include blasting and lane closures, will likely be completed by July 4.

Following a winter hiatus, roadwork resumes today on the new South River Road bridge that extends over the F.E. Everett Turnpike.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announced last week that work is expected to resume this week, weather permitting, on the replacement of the oft-traveled US Route 3 bridge over the highway.
The scheduled completion of the projected – which includes removal of the existing bridge, and ledge slope work that will involve blasting, curb installation, islands, sidewalks, and final paving and pavement markings – is July 4.
