1. Comic fans, superheroes and celebrities converged at the Manchester Doubletree for the 20th annual Granite State Comicon this weekend. Granite State Comicon is the biggest comic convention in the state. Scott Proulx, the event organizer, said "people from around the world fly in for the weekend." 2. Calling all Bedford students who love languages! Nov. 16 is N.H. World Language Day. For months, a group of New Hampshire university professors and teachers have been planning a day where students can discover the many opportunities available to them in New Hampshire "as learners of other languages." to bring together all students who are interested in languages for World Language Day. World Language Day is a day on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Plymouth State University, the University of New Hampshire at Durham, and the University of New Hampshire at Manchester. 3. Bedford residents, if you are up at 5:30 a.m. Monday morning, you can tune in to watch the historical funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. World leaders, diplomats, and people from around the world will be in attendance or attending via live coverage of this momentous event. U.S. TV News Networks covering the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II are ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News and MSNBC, who will all have correspondents in London covering the event, while PBS will simulcast the BBC's coverage.
