Chief Delivers Commendations for Proclamation Court Investigation, More

The Bedford Police Department recently held its first-annual awards ceremony at the town safety complex. There, Chief John Bryfonski recognized many of the department's standout efforts, performances and achievements.

Chief's Letter of Recognition

Lieutenant Scott M. Plumer

For outstanding work in the identification and arrests of two subjects involved in a strong armed robbery on January 10, 2012.

Animal Control Officer Steven R. Paul

For outstanding work protecting wildlife and pets in the Town of Bedford during 2012.

Bedford Police Department Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team

For outstanding investigative work in the reconstruction of serious and fatal motor vehicle accidents that occurred in Bedford from December 2011 through December 2012.
