Fatal Crash On Back River Road: Bedford Police Investigating

The crash that left a 21-year-old man dead and another with life-threatening injuries early Saturday morning, according to police.

BEDFORD, N.H. — The Bedford Police Department is investigating a car crash that left a 21-year-old man dead and another with life-threatening injuries early Saturday morning.

Just after midnight this morning, someone reported that a car went off the road and hit a tree on Back River Road, between Meadowcrest Drive and Camp Road, according to police.

When police got there found a black 1998 Honda Accord off on the side of the road. There were three people inside. A 21-year-old man passenger died in the crash, police said.

Another passenger, a 21-year-old man, suffered what are believed to be life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to Elliot Hospital where he remains in critical condition this morning.

The driver, a 22-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Elliot Hospital.
