Here are the top stories today in Bedford:
- Are you ready for the Howl-O-Ween 5k? The run/walk is the Animal Rescue League of NH's biggest fundraising event of the year. There will be vendors, snacks, and dogs in costumes. The proceeds of the event will "help us to save the lives of homeless animals in our communities for the entire year," the League wrote in a recent post. "It's also fun and 'fur friendly.'" - It's almost time to vote. This is your chance to make sure your information is correct and up to date with the Town of Bedford. The Supervisors Of The Checklist will be meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 3 to 3:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The meetings are "to approve the additions, deletions, changes of name, address and party affiliation, and other updates to the Checklist." - If you want to find out how to plan the perfect remodel, or try your hand at 3D liquid glass art, Patch has you covered with Bedford arts, crafts and tech events this week. For example, an informative workshop can help you plan the perfect remodel, and another project features a decorative 3D piece you can create with a liquid glass topcoat for a "glasslike look."
