- It's going to be a hot but beautiful summer weekend, with blue skies and plenty of sunshine. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a few afternoon clouds, with a high of 91. Winds will be light and variable, coming from the northwest at 5 mph. Saturday night will be comfortable with a low of 64. Then, on Sunday, the day will be mostly sunny, with a few afternoon clouds, with a high of 92! Winds will be from the south and southwest at 5 to 10 mph. - The Bedford Transfer Station announced they will have new hours as of Saturday, June 25. As of June 25, the Transfer Station in Bedford will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Press Release Desk)
- Saturday, June 25 is also Bedford's 2022 Household Hazardous Waste Day! From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bedford residents can dispose of "unwanted household hazardous waste" at the Bedford Transfer Station's Highway Garage on 19 Chubbuck Road in Bedford. Your vehicle "must have a valid Bedford Transfer Station Sticker" to participate in this event. Do not exit your vehicle when bringing your hazardous waste items. - Did you see a female driving a black Ford pickup truck hit a parked car in the Bedford Target parking lot on Sunday, June 5? The Bedford Police Department is asking for your assistance to identify a woman in a black Ford F250 truck that left the scene of the accident. If you have any information that can help, please contact Officer Hurley at 603-472-5113, ext. 213.
