Joppa Hill Road Roadwork Begins Today
Construction and detours expected to extend through June 28.
Construction will begin on Joppa Hill Road between North Amherst Road and Perry Road beginning today, May 15, with alternating lane closures occurring from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
From Tuesday, May 28 to Friday May 31, Joppa Hill Road be closed to all vehicles from North Amherst Road to the Joppa Hill Athletic Field. Access to the fields and Joppa Hill Farm will be from the north (see attached detour plan).
Beginning Saturday, June 1, and extending through Friday, June 28, Joppa Hill Road be closed to through vehicles from the Joppa Hill Athletic Fields north to Perry Road. Access to the athletic fields will be from the south or North Amherst Road. Access to the Joppa Hill Farm will be from the north or Perry Road (see attached detour plan).
