  1. A new Super Bowl commercial that features Lindsay Lohan was created by Planet Fitness of Hampton, New Hampshire. In the comical spot, the Mean Girls star jokes about some of her most infamous tabloid moments, while Planet Fitness helps her become more mentally alert, sleep better, and have more energy. The Super Bowl ad titled 'What's Gotten Into Lindsay?' also featured iconic actor William Shatner and basketball legend Dennis Rodman. 2. Even without Tom Brady playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday, New Hampshire sports fans were back in full force to make the event a fun day. Fans cheered on new teams in local restaurants and bars. Billy’s Sports Bar in Manchester had a good crowd Sunday night, managers said, but it was "take-out orders that kept them the busiest." The most popular request? Chicken wings. Brooke Billings, the Manager of Billy’s Sports Bar said the restaurant planned to sell more than 1,200 wings, with beer as a popular add-on. 3. Where is the New England cottontail rabbit? You may look for the native cottontail in thickets and woodlands of Bedford, but sightings are scarce. In a recent Forest Journal article, Carrie Deegan of the Forest Society said native New England cottontail populations have drastically decreased over the past 50 years due to "loss of suitable shrub habitat" and "development" that has fragmented the New England landscape. The smaller native New England cottontail rabbit is being replaced by larger Eastern cottontails released in the 1900s for hunting. Fish and Game biologists are hopeful that the native New England cottontail population will stabilize and grow. You can read the full story here (with a subscription): (The Union Leader)
