Man Accused By Police Of Putting Infant In A Clothes Dryer
Michael Higgins is accused of turning on a dryer after putting an infant inside; the baby's mother was able to remove the uninjured child.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police responded to Kimball Street for a report of a domestic incident on Sunday.
When they arrived, police learned a man and woman had been arguing, however, it did not appear the incident got physical according to police.
The woman divulged to officers that during the previous week, a man identified as Michael Higgins, 34, had put their infant daughter into the clothes dryer and turned it on. Police said the mother of the infant was able to quickly intervene and remove the infant who did not appear injured.

MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel said Higgins was arrested and charged with reckless conduct, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal threatening.
***UPDATE On Bail Status - The court finds that the state has shown that the release of Defendant would pose a danger to the community and the alleged victims based on the nature of the alleged assault (placing a four-month-old in a dryer and turning on the dryer).
