A Man Was Found Dead Near The Railroad Tracks Near Depot Street
Manchester Fire, AMR, and police responded to an unresponsive person. Police are investigating but say it doesn't appear suspicious.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Fire and AMR were dispatched to the railroad tracks near Depot Street for an unresponsive person on Monday.
Fire and EMS arrived at 11:45 a.m. and found a man who was deceased near the railroad tracks behind WMUR-TV and south of Depot Street. Firefighters requested Manchester police respond to the scene.
Detectives worked to document the scene and contacted the New Hampshire Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, who responded to the scene. The man was removed by a local funeral home after about two hours.

MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel confirmed that a man was discovered deceased but the death, at this time, did not appear to be suspicious. The age and identity of the man were not released by the police.
In May 2021, two men were found deceased in different locations along the railroad tracks in Manchester. The first person was discovered on May 9 in the area of 780 North Commercial Street.

A body was found along the railroad tracks in the area of South Commercial Street on May 15. The person was identified as Michael Madden, 64, of Manchester. Police have not released the cause or manner of death but don't consider the death suspicious.
