Motive Determined in Home Invasion
Investigation ongoing, says Hillsborough County Attorney.
It's been nearly three months since Sonia Quesada was found dead in her mother-in-law's Bedford home.
Less then a month and a half earlier, across town, Quesada and her husband, Dr. Eduardo Quesada, were reportedly brutally beaten during a home invasion at their 7 Proclamation Court house.
Bedford Police have told Patch the investigation into the original incident is nearing a conclusion, and today the Union Leader is reporting that Hillsborough County Attorney Patricia LaFrance has determined a motive in the incident.

"I'm not going to comment at this time whether it was random or not," she told the newspaper.
"If we do an investigation and any of those details leak out about the progress we are making or the specifics of the crime, it could jeopardize the investigation," LaFrance added.

She also confirmed that Quesada's autopsy did not provide evidence of homicide, backing up a Bedford Patch report from January where the state's leading medical examiner said he believes Quesada's death was unnatural, specifically noting her age and physical condition.
"We're treating it as a suspicious death in that it's untimely in an otherwise healthy person," said Dr. Thomas A. Andrew told Patch at the time.
