Here are the top stories in Bedford today:
- An Electric Vehicle dealer plans to build an electric car showroom and service center off of South River Road in Bedford. The property developer signed a non-disclosure agreement and said he can’t reveal the company, but plans submitted to the town read “Tesla concept,” so it may be Tesla. It would be the first Tesla service center in New Hampshire and would be built on vacant land at South River Road and the southern end of Technology Drive, according to the town application. - A shout out to Trevor Anibal of Bedford. The Southern New Hampshire University pitcher love's a good ending, which makes him the perfect closer for the SNHU team. When a Penmen baseball game ends with Anibal on the pitcher's mound, it’s usually good news. He was a starting pitcher when he played for Bedford High School. - Where do New Hampshire and Maine stand on the Chris Rock, Will Smith slap controversy? People across the world, and especially on Twitter, were #TeamChris or #TeamWill after the "slap heard around the world." According to more than 200,000 tweets at the time, New Hampshire was one of nine states that supported Will Smith, with Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Mississippi, Alabama, and South Carolina. The other 41 states, including Maine, supported Chris Rock. You can read more here: (wokq.com)
