Nathan 'Nate' Cashman Remembered As One Of The Kindest Persons
A GoFundMe effort started for Cashman, a Manchester man killed at Bedford hotel on Saturday. The investigation of the case continues.
BEDFORD, NH — Nathan Cashman was killed in Bedford in what a witness called a “machete attack” at the Country Inn & Suites in Bedford on Saturday.
Richard Rapazzo who was friends with Nate, has asked people to “Please help us bury our friend, taken too soon” via GoFundMe page.
Cashman, 28, of Manchester was one of two men killed on Saturday night at the hotel. The second victim David Hanaford, 60, of Seaside Height, New Jersey, died from strangulation.

Theodore L. Luckey, 42, of Asbury Park, NJ, was formally charged with two counts of attempted murder and three counts of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon after the incident. Waived his arraignment, which had been scheduled for Monday afternoon at Hillsborough Superior Court in Manchester.

Rapazzo wrote on the GoFundMe page "My name is Richie, and just yesterday my friend Nate Cashman, whose nickname was 'Bones' was murdered by someone we all thought was a friend. Nate's family are mostly already gone, so it comes to us, his friends, and his girlfriend to help get Bones the service he deserves."
Nate was remembered as "one of the kindest people I have ever met, once you were friends he would do anything he could to help you out. I can't even count the amount of times he had my back."
The GoFundMe page says "No one deserves what happened to him, please help us raise money to be able to bury our friend."
Rapazzo said he doesn’t know why the two were together at the hotel on Saturday night, but he said Luckey would visit New Hampshire every couple of weeks.
New Hampshire Department of Corrections confirmed that both Luckey and Cashman had been incarcerated at the same time at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men in Concord. They could not confirm if they knew each other or were cellmates as reported by some news agencies.
Hanford the second victim was killed in a hotel room where a witness told patch was the same room that Cashman and Luckey had been seen entering and exiting from.
On the GoFundMe page, a photo of a young girl being held by Nathan is captioned "Here is a picture of Nate and his girlfriend, Savannah's, daughter.”
As of Tuesday afternoon, the page has a fundraising goal of $10,000 and has received $1,360.
