Need a Job? Bedford Police are Hiring!

With recent news about many store closings and layoffs around New Hampshire, there has certainly been a fair share of press regarding lost jobs around the state.

Yet despite the recent announcement of hundreds of jobs lost due to Stop & Shop shuttering six Granite State supermarkets, including the Bedford location, Bedford Patch reported this weekend that New Hampshire, at 5.2-percent unemployment, is still below the national average of 7.4 percent, and that Bedford sits at even less than that, at 4.3-percent unemployment.

Bedford Police also recently posted job openings for a full-time officer and full-time communications specialist, and we found 62 other openings in Bedford alone.
