Here are the top stories in Bedford today:
- Pressed Café is opening a new location in Bedford. If the new location is like the Pressed Cafe in Nashua or Salem, this eatery will offer a comfortable and relaxed environment with "pressed" paninis and more. They are taking over the previous "Canoe" restaurant on South River Road. They remodeled inside, added a double drive-thru, and have an outside patio. The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pressed Café is known for its smoothies, raw juices, salads, soups, and paninis. They also have vegan options. You can read more about this story here: (Patch)
- As the snow melts with spring around the corner, this time of year presents the most 'danger for wildfires' as conditions are dry and there is no live vegetation, said the Bedford Fire Department on Facebook. As of Monday, March 7, permits are required for burning in Bedford. You can obtain a burning permit for free in person at the Safety Complex or online. You will find the online link and more information here: (Facebook)
