NH Cops Demanded Sex For Dropping Woman's Charges: Report
Two fired Manchester, New Hampshire, police officers were accused of demanding a woman have sex with them in exchange for dropping charges.

MANCHESTER, NH — Two New Hampshire police officers were fired after a woman said they demanded sex from her over a nine-year period in exchange for dropping criminal charges she was facing. The officers were identified as Manchester police Detectives Aaron Brown and Darren Murphy. The woman is a 35-year-old who has a long rap sheet with theft, drug and disorderly conduct charges, according to the Union Leader, which reported she filed a lawsuit against the officers.
Manchester police Chief Nick Willard fired Brown and Murphy after learning of the allegations and conducting an investigation. An "active" criminal investigation into the detectives' alleged behavior is ongoing, according to Manchester police Lieutenant Brian O’Keefe.
"The Manchester Police Department has been and will continue to be transparent in each and every incident involving our personnel," O'Keefe said in a statement. "The incident involving Mr. Aaron Brown and Mr. Darren Murphy was investigated immediately once our agency was notified of the allegations."
