NH Native Opens Blow Dry Bar In Bedford

BEDFORD, NH —A New Hampshire native has returned to the Granite State and opened a blow dry bar in Bedford, according to a news release.

Melissa Davis, the owner and operator of Blo Blow Dry Bar on Colby Court, made the move from working in sales and operations for a fitness brand to the beauty industry. Davis was an "avid guest" at Blo in New York City and decided to bring the brand to Bedford, the news release states.

Blo locations offer blowout hair treatments, which consists of washing your hair and then blow-drying it for style and volume. The Bedford location opened in August and also offers makeup services.

“During my first visit to Blo Blow Dry bar, I knew this was a company I wanted to be part of because it merges my passion for health and beauty with my career,” Davis said in a news release. “I’m excited to offer the Bedford community a unique blowout bar where guests can look and feel their best with a quick visit. Not only will we offer an extraordinary experience for all guests, but for our employees as well. It’s a privilege to bring Blo to Bedford and the community.”
