NH State Police: DUI Patrols Coming
New Hampshire State Police said officers will conduct drunk-driving patrols the weekend of June 29.

MANCHESTER, NH — New Hampshire State Police said officers will be out in force the weekend of June 29 in the Manchester area looking for drunk drivers. Federal grant money will fund the patrols, police said.
"The New Hampshire State Police has taken an aggressive stance to prevent persons from driving while impaired," State Police Lieutenant Bryan Trask said in a statement. "New Hampshire has some of the most aggressive laws in the country to fight impaired driving and the law enforcement community will use those tools to their fullest extent."
The patrols follow a drunk-driving checkpoint conducted by State Police in New Hampton last week.
