- State troopers from Bedford responded to calls after construction equipment was thrown off of the Queen City bridge hitting onto oncoming cars. State police received "multiple calls" about vehicles struck by construction equipment thrown off the Queen City Bridge between 10 and 10:15 p.m. Thursday night into oncoming traffic. Three vehicles traveling southbound under the bridge had smashed windshields and other damage. The items included four-foot lengths of rebar, shovels and concrete. Construction crews were not working on the bridge at the time of the incidents. Police are asking anyone with information, or who was driving over the bridge between 10 and 10:15 p.m. Thursday night, to contact Trooper Kyle Foster at 603-223-3785 or Kyle.B.Foster@dos.nh.gov.
