Police Investigate Second Shooting This Week In Manchester

Multiple casings found on Manchester St. from an afternoon drive-by shooting. Police continue investigating a shooting on Pine St Monday.

MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester Fire responded to Manchester Street for a report of loud noises and the smell of natural gas. When they arrived at the scene they immediately found several shell casings from an apparent drive-by shooting Thursday.

Manchester police were requested to respond and on their arrival shut down several streets surrounding the area of Manchester and Wilson Streets.

Detectives were processing the scene and placed over a dozen evidence markers next to shell casings on the ground. A specialized police canine that is trained in finding ballistic evidence located several additional casings that were marked by evidence markers.

Police say witnesses told officers someone in a silver car fired a gun out of a window. They also said a red car was struck believed to have been struck by gunfire and then drove off.

Police say no injuries have been reported from the incident.

An investigation is also underway for a shooting Monday that left a bullet hole in a bedroom wall, and several casings found on Pine St.
