Manchester Cops Respond To Shots Fired Call And A Gunshot Victim
Police, EMS responded to West Street and treated a man for an apparent wound to the leg. Guns were drawn and officers searched a building.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police, fire, and AMR Ambulance responded to West Street for a report of shots fired and a gunshot victim on Wednesday.
Fire and EMS were asked to stay away from the scene until police secured the scene. At about 1:25 p.m., fire and EMS were cleared to come to the scene. A young man received treatment for what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the leg.
While EMS treated the patient, officers, with their guns drawn, were outside the house. AMR ambulance transported the patient from the scene to a local hospital, and the victim was talking and didn’t appear to have life-threatening injuries.

A police K-9 was brought to the scene as armed officers remained outside the house. An officer set up a small drone, that has the ability to fly inside and outside the house. Officers could be seen entering the house with their weapons drawn but after a short time later came out, no one was removed from the house.
West Street in front of the house remains blocked off with crime scene tape and detectives are at the scene interviewing people.
