Dive Teams Find Evidence in Home Invasion Case

Bedford Police Chief says significant progress made in investigation.

Bedford Police are confirming tonight that they, along with New Hampshire State Police, NH Fish and Game and the FBI, searched two locations today in connection with the assault that took place at 7 Proclamation Court on Nov. 24.

Bedford Police Chief John Bryfonski said locations in Milford and Amherst were searched and that the investigation has progressed significantly.

"I am not able to discuss what, if anything, was found in connection with the searches today, but can confirm that significant progress in this case has been made and that further developments are expected in the coming days and week," said Bryfonski.

WMUR-TV is reporting that two ponds were searched in Milford and Amherst today and that Railroad Pond in Milford may have produced evidence. In addition, WMUR is reporting that two suspects are already in custody and awaiting charges.

Amherst Fire Chief Mark Boynton confirmed to Amherst Patch that a dive team used the Amherst Fire Station as their command post, though he noted that no additional details into the investigation were revealed.
