Ready to Make an Impact? Find Your Cause is back on November 19th
Find Your Cause event is an opportunity to connect with a wide range of organizations and explore volunteer opportunities

A key event aimed at fostering community engagement and collaboration will take place at the SEE Science Center in Manchester on November 19, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The Find Your Cause event is an opportunity for local residents to connect with a wide range of organizations, explore volunteer opportunities, and get inspired to make a positive impact in the community.
Hosted by Manchester Young Professionals, an initiative of the Greater Manchester Chamber, the event brings together nonprofit organizations, community groups, and local businesses to showcase their work and offer ways for individuals to get involved. Participants will be able to speak directly with representatives from 30+ nonprofit organizations, learn about their missions, and discover how they can contribute to meaningful causes.
The goal of the event is to create a space for networking, collaboration, and inspiration, encouraging attendees to find a nonprofit that resonates with them. Whether it’s volunteering, donating, or becoming an advocate for a local initiative, this event aims to spark a sense of civic responsibility and social impact.
“We are thrilled to host this event at the SEE Science Center,” said Cole Riel, Coordinator of Manchester Young Professionals. “The response last year was tremendous, and we expect even more engagement this year. It’s an opportunity for individuals to see just how much good they can do, and it’s a great way for community-minded organizations to connect with passionate people.”
What to Expect:
- Interactive Booths & Exhibits: Representatives from a variety of local nonprofits and community organizations will have booths where attendees can learn about their missions, upcoming projects, and volunteer needs.
- Networking Opportunities: Meet and engage with others who are interested in giving back to the community. Whether you're an individual looking for ways to help, or a business seeking to partner with local organizations, there will be ample opportunities to connect.
- Inspiration & Ideas: Organizations will be giving quick pitches to learn about their missions and opportunities they have available.
- Food and Drinks Provided: Food will be available from Ansanm and drink will be provided by Great North Aleworks and Thirsty City!
