- Governor Chris Sununu made national headlines as one of the first Governors banning Russian Vodka at State liquor stores. Sununu signed an executive order Saturday notifying State Liquor and Wine Outlets to remove Russian-made and branded spirits, including Russian beer and wines. Alcoholic spirits from Russia that come through the state have been removed from shelves state-wide, Sununu told News 9, adding that it's not only a symbolic move to support Ukraine, but "could have some impact" on the Russian liquor industry, he said. - Are you ready for spring flowers? The N.H. Orchid Society's 29th flower show and sale will be in Nashua, New Hampshire, from March 25 -27. It's one of New Hampshire’s most popular events welcoming spring to New Hampshire. The show, called A Bounty of Orchids, gives will be offering an "unprecedented variety" of rare and exotic orchids for sale by hobbyists and professionals from all over the United States. - After a warm and sunny day in the 60s earlier in the week, winter returned Friday with freezing cold temperatures and fresh snow, to the delight of skiers, ski areas, and snow enthusiasts. How much snow did the all-day storm bring to New Hampshire? Forecasters predicted up to a foot of snow in parts of Southern New Hampshire. Bedford had 8.3 inches of snow, while Manchester had 7 inches. Nashua's total was 6.8 inches. Residents of Newington woke up Saturday morning to more than a foot of snow.
