MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester Police were contacted by Tewksbury, MA police who were investigating a shooting incident on Saturday.

The shooting occurred near the Motel 6 on Main Street around 3:40 a.m. Saturday. Investigators learned that a person allegedly fired a single shot toward three victims. No one was injured during the incident and the suspect fled the scene before police arrived on the scene according to Tewksbury Police Chief Ryan Columbus.

Tewksbury police identified the suspect as 26 year old, Tyler Shaw of Manchester.

Shaw was located and arrested in the area of Canton and Spruce Streets Wednesday. He faces charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (2 counts), Carrying a Firearm without a License, Discharge of a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Building.

Tewksbury Police said the preliminary investigation indicates this was not a random act of violence.

Shaw was booked and processed at the Manchester Police Department as a Fugitive from Justice and was brought to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections pending his arraignment.
