Threatening With Firearm Led To 2 Arrests In Manchester

A firearm threatening incident on Somerville Street led to the arrest of Samuel Caraballo, 22, and Jesiah Wade, 25, both of Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH - On December 5, 2020

Manchester Police responded to a Somerville Street address Saturday for a report of a threat involving a firearm.

MPD Sgt. Matthew Jajuga said officers attempted to make contact with the reported suspect at the location through multiple different methods but were initially unsuccessful. Several hours later, the subject, along with another individual, exited their location, and were subsequently taken into custody by officers on scene.

Samuel Caraballo, 22, and Jesiah Wade, 25 both of Manchester, were arrested. Caraballo was charged with felony criminal threatening, convicted felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and resisting arrest or detention.

Jesiah Wade was charged with resisting arrest or detention and fugitive from justice due to an active outstanding warrant out of Texas and a warrant by the Manchester Police Department.

Wade, according to published reports, was arrested in Cooke County, Texas, along with a man from Oklahoma, on a third-degree felony charge for possession of marijuana after police reportedly found 20 lbs. of marijuana valued at $180,000, THC, as well as cash, during a traffic stop. He was released on $15,000 bond. Wade was arrested in Manchester in 2017 on a crack possession charge and an active warrant out of superior court on a drug charge.

Back in 2013, while playing football for Manchester Central High School, Wade broke the New Hampshire and New England single-game rushing yards record during a game vs. Merrimack.
