  1. Coffee shops were handing out free cups of coffee yesterday for National Coffee Day. If you happened to stop by places like Dunkin' or Aroma Joe's, you were in luck. If you missed National Coffee Day entirely, mark your calendar so you can get a free cup of joe next year. (wokq.com)
  2. The Grand Hotel Lobby Bar is transformed into a modern Italian trattoria. Trattoria Fondi officially opened on Sept. 22. The bar menu has been replaced "by a chef-curated menu of reimagined regional classics." Trattoria Fondi is serving breakfast daily from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. You can stop by for dinner Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and hours on Friday and Saturday are 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Mangia! (Bedford Village Inn)
  3. Have you been waiting for the fall Deerfield Fair? The wait is over! The fair is open from Thursday, Sept. 29 to Oct. 6. The annual Deerfield Fair is "New England’s oldest family fair," celebrating its 145th year. "Check out the entertainment, schedule, and purchase your tickets in advance." Parking is free! (Manchester Ink Link)
  4. For fall activities a little closer to home, check out Applefest at Sullivan Farm in Nashua from Oct. 1-2. The Salvation Army of Nashua will be hosting the annual Applefest. Enjoy two full days of fall games, apple picking, hay rides, scarecrow-making and more. There will be plenty of fresh apples, apple cider and apple pies! The event is rain or shine.
