The owner of an Amory Street center and 3 other women were accused of giving children melatonin without their parents' knowledge or consent.
MANCHESTER, NH — Four women face child endangerment charges in the Queen City after being accused of unsafe practices at an in-home daycare center last year.
Manchester officers in the city’s juvenile division began investigating an Amory Street facility in November 2023. According to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for police, children who attended the center ate food that had melatonin sprinkled in it without the knowledge or consent of their parents.
Sally Dreckmann, 52, the owner of the daycare center, as well as Traci Innie, 51, Kaitlin Filardo, 23, and Jessica Foster, also 23, all of Manchester, were all arrested on 10 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
