Victim's Mother 'Sickened' by Hit and Run

Nancy Drukker said she's especially disappointed the alleged driver was a police officer.

The mother of 18-year-old Dean Drukker, a Bedford High School senior who was struck by an undercover Manchester Police SUV allegedly operated by Stephen Coco – who was fired Monday after more than 17 years with Manchester PD – is now speaking out about the incident.

Following this morning's news that Coco had been arrested and charged with two felony counts of conduct after an accident, Nancy Drukker told the Union Leader that her son may have died if it weren't for the quick thinking and fast actions of his friend, 17-year-old Noah Hickman who ran to a nearby house and solicited the help of the homeowner, a nurse.

Though Nancy Drukker said God was protecting her son, she told the Union Leader that she's sickened by the reality that the alleged driver of the vehicle was a police officer.
