What Are They Building at the Corner of Route 101 and Nashua Road?

Last week, shortly after posting an article about the ongoing summer construction project at McKelvie Intermediate School, Bedford Patch received an inquiry on our Facebook page asking:

What's going in on the corner of Nashua Rd and 101?

Well, you ask, and Bedford Patch answers.

We reached out to Bedford Planning Director Rick Sawyer for more information and he provided the following response via email:

Riley Enterprises has approval for a bank/credit union. Mr. Riley (Tom) has indicated that he does not have a tenant at this time, but wanted to get most of the site work done to make it more marketable.

Sure, the answer isn't anything too exciting, like a Sonic or another Dunkin' Donuts, but now you know, and as G.I. Joe assuredly taught all of us: "Knowing is half the battle."
