What is One Thing Your Father Taught You?

We asked some of Bedford's most influential town officials to reflect on lessons from dad.

Most of us reflect on our childhood and remember dad manning the grill, mowing the lawn, playing toss with us in the back yard or being a voice of reason – and sometimes discipline – when life got tough.

To honor Father's Day, Bedford Patch approached several of Bedford's town officials and asked each to name one thing they learned from their ol' man.

Without fail, each person, from Town Clerk Lori Radke to Police Chief John Bryfonski cracked a smile, and a couple had to hold back tears, but all offered unique musings of their childhood and the specific lessons they retained.
