When Will the Heat Wave End in NH?
Here are five things you should know as we head into another couple days of scorching July heat!

1. It continues. Another day, another high in the 90s. The National Weather Service has again issued a heat advisory from 11 a.m. through 7 p.m. as today's high temperature is expected to hover in the low 90s with abundant sunshine. Unlike the last few days, however, today's forecast calls for the potential for rain. The afternoon, in fact, calls for a 40-percent chance of precipitation with scattered thunderstorms possible into the early evening.
2. When will it end? Well, the heat is likely to get worse before it gets better. Friday's forecast, according to Weather.com, calls for a high of 97 degrees, though that dips to around 90 Saturday and then, finally, into the low 80s Sunday where it appears temperatures will remain for most of next week. Can I get a 'heck yeah'!?
3. Bedford cooling shelter. Don't forget, Bedford has set up a cooling shelter at the Bedford Public Library all this week. For more information, click here.
5. On the agenda. There are no scheduled municipal or school district meetings remaining on this week's calendar. The next scheduled meeting is Tuesday, July 23, when the Conservation Commission gathers at the BCTV Bedford Town Meeting Room at 7 p.m.
