Here are the top 3 stories today in Bedford:

  1. Tonya Williams is the New Hampshire Girls Scouts Volunteer of the Month. New Hampshire's Girls Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, which has its headquarters in Bedford, New Hampshire, roundly made the announcement in a recent post. Williams "was described by her co-leaders as a go-getter and a real leader." They added, "She loves being a mentor and doing good for the community." (Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains via Facebook)
  2. A shout out to Patch Premiere Sponsor Mariana Vis, who just listed this "wow" iconic landmark home at 241 Wallace Road in Bedford. The 8,496-square-foot estate has seven bedrooms, and eight baths and is an "iconic" Bedford Landmark estate home originally built in 1910, and completely rebuilt in 2014 (with only the foundation remaining). This modern farmhouse home features in-law living space, a "car-collection worthy" garage, a carriage house, and two cows in the front field (that are negotiable). (Bedford Patch)
  3. La. la. la. If you sing and want to bring joy to the world with your voice, The Manchester Choral Society is holding auditions at an Open Sing on Sept. 12. The MCS welcomes new and returning singers for Season 62. The first rehearsal will be an Open Sing on Monday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., at the Bethany Covenant Church Pavilion. Bring a potluck dish to share! Find out more here: (Manchester Ink Link)
