Coronavirus Forces Cancellation Of Annual Law Enforcement Event

The Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial Committee has canceled its annual remembrance memorial service for first responders and others.

CONCORD, NH — The NH Law Enforcement Officers’ Memorial Committee has announced that following CDC guidelines and due to the nationwide COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 New Hampshire Fallen Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Ceremony has been canceled. They org said they were taking this precaution to limit exposure to law enforcement, first responders and surviving family.

"We will continue to remember and recognize New Hampshire’s Law Enforcement Officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and died in the line of duty while protecting and serving the citizens of the state of New Hampshire," the org said. "We also continue to remember the sacrifices of survivors that have been left behind, many of which are still continuing with their healing and grieving process."

The New Hampshire Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Committee continues to seek monetary donations for the perpetual care fund; donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
