Do You Know This Alleged Thief?
Concord Police releases surveillance tape and asks public for help in identifying Hannaford thief.
Concord police are asking the public's help in identifying a man wanted for attempted theft of merchandise and subsequent assault at the Hannaford Supermarket on Fort Eddy Road on April 7.
An employee observed the person removing merchandise and leaving the store. When confronted by store security, he dropped the merchandise and pushed the officer before fleeing through the parking lot.
The subject is described as a white male, approximately 20-years-old, with a thin-to-medium build, with brown hair and a “chin-strap” style-beard.

He was wearing a dark short-sleeve New York Yankees "Jeter" jersey with the number "2" on the back. He also had a blue bandanna around his head and was wearing sunglasses. The subject was wearing blue jeans and had some sort of facial piercing, according to police.
