Fatal Accident At Hooksett Toll
State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash at the Hooksett Toll in a southbound lane.
HOOKSETT, NH - New Hampshire State Police are investigating a fatal single-car crash into a Hooksett tollbooth, which occurred in the southbound lane around 1:55 a.m.
When responders got to the scene the car was on fire.
Sgt. William Graham confirmed the driver died at the scene, and appeared to be the only person who was in the vehicle.

Graham confirmed a worker was in the tollbooth that was struck. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation but does not appear to be injured.
Police confirmed the vehicle was a 2017 Subaru Forester.

As of 6 a.m. the southbound cash lanes are closed but high-speed tolling is open. All lanes were expected to reopen by 7.
Police are investigating the accident and trying to confirm the identity of the driver. The cause of the crash is unknown.
