Belmont Death Investigation Ruled A Homicide

New Hampshire State Police, Belmont police and the Attorney General's Office are investigating a death Monday on Tee Dee Drive in Belmont.

BELMONT, NH — Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announced Tuesday that additional information is available regarding a suspicious death that occurred on March 16, 2020, in Belmont. At approximately 4:30 p.m. Monday, Belmont police responded to a 911 call at 31 Tee Dee Drive in Belmont. When they arrived, they discovered a resident, Pamela Murphy, 62, deceased in her home.

Associate Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Christine James conducted an autopsy Tuesday and has determined Murphy’s cause of death was trauma to her head and neck, and the manner of death was ruled homicide.

The investigation is active and ongoing. However, based on the information known at this time, there does not appear to be a danger to the public.
